Email Newsletters

One of the absolute keys of my success and pretty much every business is to keep in touch with their database. The rule of thumb is to send something every 30 days.

If you’re not – your competitors will be.

Here are some examples of mine…

The best way to do that is with a newsletter.

  • http://www.caseygollan.com.au/newsletter/aug10/
  • http://www.caseygollan.com.au/newsletter/nov09/

Now to put your own newsletter together expect to pay around $200 to $1000 for the design and about $300 a year for the ‘service’ of hosting your database and then sending out the e-mails.

It may be a learning curve for you – but it’s definitely worth it.

I use: aweber and ‘mail loop’ from www.netregistry.com.au.

Some of my clients use www.mailchimp.com and www.constantcontact.com.

If you’re going to send out a newsletter the best days to mail out a newsletter are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 and 2pm.

I always send mine around the middle of the month on a Wednesday at 11am.
